Hello Tumblr world, it has been a while! :)
Usually after work, I go and fill up on gas at the local Shell gas station near my house. A couple days back (Monday), while I was filling up, a young white guy, probably in his mid-twenties, came up to me and asked if he could get some gas money. He said he was heading to Albuquerque and his car was out of gas. I’m usually really skeptical of people that ask for money but for some reason I just checked my wallet and handed him $20, no questions asked. He seemed kinda shocked but was thankful and went about his business.
Yesterday, I went to one of my customers, who is a believer and in the middle of the transaction she handed me a red envelope with $20 for Chinese New Years. I was shocked because I wasn’t expecting it at all. And as we finished the transaction her mother handed me $5 to go get some coffee.
I’m not posting this story to brag about something miniscule as $25 but I am just so thankful that I can be here, alive and well, in a relationship with my heavenly Father. He provides in unexpected ways. I don’t think that stranger was expecting to receive much from me and I wasn’t expecting anything in return when I gave him money.
Father, please help me to be faithful in the little things. For Your glory, for Your Kingdom. May You increase and I, decrease! :)

I figured I should post my work-in-progress Thrice tattoo. All that I have left is some shading and a bunch of color to fill it all in, but I love what I currently have! The concept behind the tattoo was to focus on my favorite song, Red Sky and also implement some other Thrice elements too, namely the digital sea at the bottom coming out of the waves. I should mention also that this was born out of the bars that were my first tattoo (about 5 years ago), so those are going to be re-touched as well. I will be sure to follow up with the final picture after I complete it this month but here’s what I’ve got right now!
